The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality EYFS curriculum to young children, ensuring engaging and stimulating learning experiences.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and safe learning environment that supports the emotional and social development of children.
  • Plan and implement creative and challenging activities that support children’s holistic development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, in line with EYFS requirements.
  • Work closely with parents and other staff members to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to each child’s learning journey.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure the learning environment is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times.
  • Support the school’s mission and values, contributing to the overall success of the institution.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Experience working with young children in an early years setting
  • Commitment to the EYFS framework and child development

Preferred

  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Knowledge of child-led learning and play-based pedagogy
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Flexibility to work term-time and start in August or October
