The Opportunity:
We are seeking an EYFS Teacher to join a warm and dedicated team at a highly regarded nursery school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children’s early learning and development. The role offers a supportive and well-resourced working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality EYFS curriculum to young children, ensuring engaging and stimulating learning experiences.
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and safe learning environment that supports the emotional and social development of children.
- Plan and implement creative and challenging activities that support children’s holistic development.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, in line with EYFS requirements.
- Work closely with parents and other staff members to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to each child’s learning journey.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the learning environment is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times.
- Support the school’s mission and values, contributing to the overall success of the institution.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and spoken English
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting
- Commitment to the EYFS framework and child development
Preferred
- Experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of child-led learning and play-based pedagogy
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Flexibility to work term-time and start in August or October
