The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Food Technician to join our Design & Technology department and support the delivery of an outstanding curriculum. This role offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art facility and contribute to the success of a highly motivated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of Food Technology lessons and practical sessions
• Maintain and manage the Food Technology room and equipment
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and COSHH guidelines
• Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for lessons
• Collaborate with the department to develop and enhance the curriculum
• Provide guidance and support to students during practical work
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment
• Assist with the storage and management of food supplies and equipment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• GCSE A to C in Maths, English and Science
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH guidelines
• Experience working with potentially hazardous equipment and materials

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting
• Knowledge of ESCC guidelines
• Experience in Food Technology or a related field
