Summary:

Inclusion Hub Manager needed to lead and develop a school’s new Inclusion Hub and support student wellbeing.

The Opportunity:

As an Inclusion Hub Manager, you will lead the development of a new Inclusion Hub and ensure students receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a key role in promoting an inclusive environment and driving positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the Inclusion Hub, creating a safe and supportive environment for students.
  • Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies to support student wellbeing and academic progress.
  • Work closely with the Inclusion team, Senior Assistant Head Teacher, and pastoral teams to identify and support students.
  • Support the reintegration of students into mainstream classrooms, where appropriate.
  • Liaise with parents, external professionals, and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience among students.
  • Ensure accurate recording of interventions and support on the Provision Map.
  • Collaborate with staff to maintain a consistent and inclusive approach across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH / SEND needs.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive education practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner.
  • Experience in leading or coordinating interventions or support programmes.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing a team or leading a department.
  • Familiarity with educational software and record-keeping systems.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation techniques.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
