Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Chemistry to Secondary students
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies aligned with the school’s values and curriculum
  • Support student learning through differentiated instruction and formative assessment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching and learning

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Secondary A Level Chemistry
  • Strong commitment to the values of integrity, empathy, and fortitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding learning and teaching
  • Willingness to collaborate and share best practice with colleagues

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula such as the IB or National Curriculum of England
  • A growth mindset with a focus on reflection and continuous improvement
  • Creativity and enthusiasm in teaching and learning
  • Experience with inquiry-based learning or innovative pedagogical approaches
