The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic and social development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring consistent and accurate record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, identifying and addressing safeguarding concerns.
  • Lead by example, supporting the professional development of peers and contributing to the school’s leadership structure.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to support student learning and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Foundation Stage Teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE).
  • Proven experience teaching Foundation Stage within a British curriculum setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and Wales and its assessment practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • Commitment to student welfare, with the ability to identify and report safeguarding concerns.
  • Availability to start in August 2026.

Preferred

  • Experience in leadership or mentoring within an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with British curriculum schools in the UAE.
  • Experience with pastoral care and child development.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
