Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive French and Spanish lessons to students across key stages.
• Develop and create high-quality online learning resources that align with curriculum requirements.
• Support students with diverse learning needs, including those with SEND and mental health challenges.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
• Utilize Edtech tools effectively to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Provide constructive feedback and assess student progress using a range of assessment techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and learning across the school.
• Mentor students and support their academic and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching the secondary age range (11–18 years).
• Experience teaching in a group setting.
• Strong understanding of assessment for learning and diagnostic teaching.
• Ability to support students with SEND and mental health needs in a virtual environment.
• Knowledge of teaching strategies that maximize the potential of online learning.
• Experience in creating and collating resources for online delivery.
• A strong belief in the value of learning from home and flipped learning models.

Preferred

• Experience teaching French and Spanish at GCSE and A-level.
• Familiarity with Edexcel International GCSE and A-level CIE specifications.
• Proven ability to innovate with technology in online teaching and learning.
• Experience in developing highly engaging online learning content.
