Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons to students aged 11–18, both part-time and full-time.
• Create and curate engaging online learning resources aligned with GCSE and A-level specifications.
• Support students with SEND and mental health needs through tailored strategies in a virtual classroom.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and progress.
• Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver innovative online learning content.
• Participate in mentoring and pastoral support initiatives where appropriate.
• Ensure all assessments and feedback align with learning objectives and support student development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching the secondary age range (11–18).
• Experience teaching groups of students in a virtual or classroom setting.
• Strong understanding of assessment for learning and diagnostic teaching strategies.
• Ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to flipped learning and online education.
• Experience in creating and collating resources for online delivery.

Preferred

• Experience teaching English at GCSE and A-level.
• Knowledge of Edexcel International GCSE or A-level CIE specifications.
• Proven ability to use technology creatively in online teaching.
• Experience in developing highly engaging learning content for online delivery.
