The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced French Teacher to join our expanding team and contribute to a dynamic, multicultural learning environment. This role offers the chance to inspire students across Primary and Secondary levels while delivering creative and engaging French lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective French language curriculum and lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Deliver engaging and interactive French lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
• Develop students’ language proficiency across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Promote cultural awareness by integrating French history, customs, and traditions into learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leaders on student development.
• Participate actively in extracurricular and cultural activities related to the French language.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, French, or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Proficiency in French (native or near-native level) and excellent command of English.
• Strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum for primary and/or secondary programmes.
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including EAL learners.
• Demonstrated classroom management, instructional planning, and communication skills.
