Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Geography lessons across KS3-5.
  • Develop and implement a rigorous and inclusive curriculum aligned with the school's vision.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental teaching and learning strategies.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to staff meetings and planning sessions.
  • Support extracurricular activities and promote the school’s wider curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment that encourages student achievement.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at KS3-5 level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s vision of "Excellence for All."

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
