The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Maths Teacher to join our highly successful department. The role involves teaching Maths to students across KS3 to KS5, with a focus on delivering an academically rigorous and inclusive curriculum. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across KS3 to KS5, ensuring engagement and progression.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support all learners, including those with special educational needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental planning and development.
  • Participate in the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and guardians.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the Maths curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Support the school’s mission of "Excellence for All" through inclusive and innovative teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Maths subject knowledge.
  • Experience teaching Maths to students across KS3 to KS5.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to departmental success.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong academic reputation.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted outstanding-rated institutions.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
