The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join our thriving Humanities department. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the learning experience of students across a wide range of abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of geographical concepts through interactive learning experiences.
• Assess and report on student progress, using data to guide teaching and support individual learning needs.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative schemes of work and share best practices.
• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and achievement.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and co-curricular activities.
• Uphold the school’s values and contribute to the wider life of the school through events and enrichment opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A qualified teacher with a minimum of two years’ experience, ideally within the National Curriculum for England.
• Strong classroom management and teaching skills with a passion for Geography.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.

Preferred

• Experience working in an international or culturally diverse setting.
• Familiarity with UAE culture and heritage.
• Experience with curriculum development and co-curricular involvement.
