The Opportunity:

As the Director of Sport, you will lead the Performance Analysis function, capturing and interpreting data to support evidence-based decision-making. This role is pivotal in driving innovation through technology and AI to enhance athlete performance, wellbeing, and development across the school’s high-performance programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage biometric data collection and video analysis to support athlete performance monitoring
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards for coaches and staff
• Implement and integrate cutting-edge technology and AI solutions to enhance analysis and intervention planning
• Collaborate with coaches and staff to ensure data-informed decision-making
• Support the development of athlete wellbeing and long-term performance strategies
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the sports department
• Work closely with the Mustang High Performance Team to align data strategies with programme goals
• Ensure consistency and quality in performance reporting and analysis across the school

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• BEd or Bachelor's degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
• Proven experience in teaching Sport in a leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to model core values of integrity, empathy, and fortitude
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with colleagues, students, and parents
• Proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching
• Commitment to active engagement in extra-curricular and community-based events

Preferred

• Experience with performance analysis and data interpretation
• Familiarity with AI and technology integration in sports programmes
• Leadership experience in high-performance sports environments
• Strong understanding of athlete development and wellbeing strategies
• Experience in using AR and AI technology to enhance learning and performance
