Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and student-led Geography lessons at both GCSE and A Level.
• Plan and implement a curriculum that aligns with the British National Curriculum and incorporates global perspectives.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Contribute to departmental planning and collaboration with colleagues.
• Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and personal growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Undergraduate degree or major in Geography.
• PGCE in Geography or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography in a British school or British Curriculum school.
• Experience with AQA, Edexcel, or equivalent British exam boards.
• Evidence of 'Outstanding' teaching practice or the potential to become outstanding.
• Strong ability to plan engaging and student-centered lessons.
• Expertise in Geography with a passion for inspiring students.
