The Opportunity:

We are seeking a UK Qualified Secondary English Teacher to join our team in August 2026. This role is ideal for a passionate and innovative educator who is committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning outcomes in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the British curriculum and IGCSE/A Level specifications.
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies that support student achievement and growth.
• Contribute to the wider curriculum and support the school’s vision and mission.
• Provide pastoral care and support to students, ensuring their academic and personal development.
• Participate in staff development programs and professional learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Support the school in its commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good honors degree in English language and literature.
• A PGCE teaching qualification from the UK, specializing in Secondary English with QTS.
• Minimum of three years’ experience teaching English in a British curriculum school in the UAE, UK, or other countries.
• At least two years of experience teaching IGCSE and A Level English.
• Commitment to the school’s vision and mission, including a willingness to contribute to the wider curriculum.

Preferred

• Experience with High-Performance Learning (HPL) methodologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft educational tools and technologies.
• Experience in leading or supporting student enrichment activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
