Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Art and Design lessons aligned with IB MYP, DP, and IGCSE frameworks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design concept-based units of inquiry and authentic assessment tasks.
• Engage and differentiate instruction for students at all ability levels.
• Foster student autonomy and a constructivist approach to learning.
• Promote international-mindedness and service learning through curriculum and co-curricular activities.
• Maintain high standards of organisation and visibility within the school community.
• Support the development of the school’s broader educational vision and community initiatives.
• Teach additional subjects as required, depending on departmental needs and candidate expertise.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience teaching Art and Design across the senior school, including IB MYP and DP.
• Strong understanding of the IB philosophy and curriculum.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a teaching qualification.
• Relevant international teaching experience.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Preferred

• Experience with IGCSE.
• Additional skills in PE, games, or other co-curricular areas.
• Experience or openness to teaching Visual Arts, Sport, or other related subjects.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and current educational research.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, challenge, and empower students.
