Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the teaching and learning of Geography across the senior school, with a focus on IB MYP and IGCSE.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop concept-based units of inquiry and authentic assessment tasks.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and foster independent learning.
• Promote international-mindedness and service learning through Geography education.
• Maintain high standards of organization and communication.
• Support the wider school community through collaborative and team-based initiatives.
• Teach additional related subjects as required.
• Stay current with educational research and best practices in Geography teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience teaching Geography at the senior school level.
• Strong knowledge of the IB MYP and IGCSE curricula.
• A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, with a teaching qualification.
• Relevant international teaching experience.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Preferred

• Experience teaching Environmental Systems & Societies or Earth Sciences.
• Experience with the IB Diploma Programme.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
