The Opportunity:

The Head of Catering and Hospitality will oversee the management and development of catering and hospitality services across a school site, ensuring high standards of service and food safety. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality in a dynamic, high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all catering and hospitality operations across the school site.
  • Ensure the delivery of efficient, high-quality service during all school events and daily operations.
  • Oversee food safety standards, including compliance with HACCP and Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate requirements.
  • Develop and implement catering strategies that align with the school’s values and objectives.
  • Supervise and train catering staff to maintain consistent service and high standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
  • Monitor and manage budgets related to catering and hospitality services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure the procurement of quality ingredients.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant education and experience in catering and hospitality management.
  • HACCP and Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in managing large-scale catering operations in an educational setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in event management and hospitality services.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience working in a school or educational institution.
