The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Economics lessons to students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement assessment for learning strategies to enhance student outcomes.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic results in Economics and Business.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of teaching and learning strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and performance.
- Encourage student participation and interest in Economics and Business through extracurricular activities.
- Uphold the school’s ethos, policies, and values in all aspects of teaching and behavior.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Secure knowledge of Economics and Business concepts and skills.
- Experience in delivering effective Economics and Business teaching.
- Strong understanding of assessment for learning strategies.
- Commitment to the school’s ethos and values.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Business.
- Experience in a specialist music school or similar educational environment.
- Experience in working with students of a wide range of abilities.
