The Opportunity:
As Head of Education, you will provide strategic academic leadership across senior schools, ensuring high standards in curriculum, teaching, and learning. This role is key to supporting school improvement and maintaining the quality of education across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support academic standards across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Collaborate with Heads and senior leadership teams to drive school improvement.
- Ensure consistency and coherence in educational quality across all schools.
- Support inspection readiness and continuous professional development.
- Provide expert guidance on curriculum design and pedagogical best practices.
- Work closely with the Director of Education to align Trust-wide educational goals.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of educational initiatives and interventions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Significant senior leadership experience in secondary or senior school education.
- Strong track record in curriculum development, teaching, and school improvement.
- Experience in quality assurance and educational leadership.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with school leaders and colleagues.
- Commitment to the values of academic excellence, inclusion, and student wellbeing.
Preferred
- Experience in leading educational initiatives or strategic projects.
- Familiarity with inspection processes and standards.
- Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and pedagogical research.
- Experience working within a multi-school Trust or federation.
