The Opportunity:

As the Head of Performing Arts, you will lead the development and delivery of a world-class performing arts programme. This role is pivotal in shaping the creative and academic experience of students, while supporting the school’s mission to inspire and challenge young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the performing arts department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement the embedded arts curriculum in collaboration with The Juilliard School.
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential through engaging and innovative teaching.
• Support the school’s mission by promoting the values and aspirations of the institution.
• Manage and deploy resources to enhance student learning and performance.
• Oversee peripatetic music, dance, and drama provision to ensure excellence in all areas of the performing arts.
• Lead and mentor subject teachers to help them grow professionally and deliver outstanding results.
• Create a purposeful and safe learning environment that supports both academic and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Teaching Certificate in a relevant subject area and school level.
• Five or more years’ international education experience.
• Experience in teaching IBDP, A-level or similar curriculum.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations.
• Excellent cross-cultural, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Master of Education degree.
• Relevant professional development in the field of Education.
• Experience in leadership and faculty development.
