Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a growing team of English teachers, ensuring high-quality teaching and professional development.
• Deliver expert English instruction to students aged 11–18, with a focus on engaging and inclusive teaching methods.
• Support students with English as a second language, ensuring their academic success and confidence.
• Collaborate with the Academic Management team on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.
• Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programs and support the Admissions and Marketing teams.
• Utilize ICT tools effectively, including the SchoolPal system, for teaching and administrative tasks.
• Stay up to date with developments in the English subject and incorporate innovative teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A high-quality degree in English or a related subject.
• Demonstrated ability to teach English to students aged 11–18 confidently and effectively.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in ICT, including the use of the SchoolPal system.
• Willingness to support the Admissions and Marketing teams.

Preferred

• A formal teaching qualification.
• Experience in teaching, examining, or in the commercial sector.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
• Interest in further training and professional development.
• Ability to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
