The Opportunity:

As the Head of Primary ICT, you will lead the integration of technology and education in the Primary School, shaping a forward-thinking learning environment that empowers students to be innovative, confident, and digitally literate. This role is ideal for an experienced educator passionate about using technology to transform teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy for the Primary School that aligns with the school's vision and curriculum goals.
• Lead and support the teaching team in the effective use of technology to enhance student engagement and achievement.
• Manage the procurement, maintenance, and upgrading of ICT infrastructure and resources.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of technology across the curriculum.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of ICT initiatives on student learning outcomes.
• Provide professional development and training for staff on emerging technologies and pedagogical approaches.
• Stay current with trends in educational technology and ensure the school remains at the forefront of innovation.
• Work closely with the Head of School and senior leadership to align ICT goals with the overall strategic direction of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably in ICT or EdTech.
• Strong background in curriculum development and instructional technology.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of educators.
• In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies in education.
• Experience in managing ICT infrastructure and resources in a school environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a British or international school setting.
• Familiarity with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) or similar frameworks.
• Experience with EdTech tools and platforms such as Google for Education, Microsoft 365, or other learning management systems.
• Understanding of the IB framework and its application in primary education.
