Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging physical education programs aligned with the school’s mission and curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and personal development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education with academic and extracurricular activities.
- Supervise and manage students during sports and physical activities, ensuring safety and adherence to school policies.
- Organize and lead extracurricular sports events and competitions.
- Support the school’s commitment to character development through sports and leadership opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Stay updated with best practices in physical education and contribute to curriculum development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a recognized teaching qualification and relevant experience in physical education.
- Strong knowledge of sports and physical education curricula and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a diverse group of students.
- Commitment to the school’s values of kindness, responsibility, respect, courage, and integrity.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international or multicultural educational setting.
- Familiarity with the IB or IGCSE curriculum.
- Experience in coaching or leading sports teams.
- Advanced degree in physical education or related field.
