The Opportunity:

As the Head of Secondary School, you will provide strategic leadership and academic direction for the secondary phase, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and driving continuous improvement across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the secondary section
• Lead, support, and manage teaching staff to deliver high-quality instruction
• Monitor and improve student achievement and progress through data-driven decision making
• Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and assessment aligned with academic standards
• Ensure compliance with ADEK requirements and school policies
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to whole-school development and improvement initiatives
• Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that supports both staff and student success
• Represent the school in external meetings and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject (Master’s degree preferred)
• Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting
• Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and school improvement
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

Preferred

• Experience within the UAE or similar international contexts
• Familiarity with American curriculum standards and AP Program
• Experience in leading school improvement initiatives
