The Opportunity:
As Head of Secondary School, you will lead and manage the secondary school team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education aligned with Cambridge standards. This role is pivotal in shaping the academic and personal growth of students while supporting staff development and fostering a positive school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the secondary school team to ensure effective teaching and learning outcomes.
- Implement and monitor the Cambridge curriculum to maintain academic excellence.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student well-being and achievement.
- Support staff through professional development and leadership opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through data-driven strategies.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to build strong partnerships.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the school.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and international educational standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in secondary education leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum framework.
- Proven ability to lead teams in an international school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in data-driven decision making to improve student outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience in managing large-scale educational programs or initiatives.
- Background in school administration or senior leadership roles.
- Experience with international education standards and accreditation processes.
- Familiarity with STEM-based enrichment programs.
