The Opportunity:

The Head of Teaching and Learning Development (English) will provide strategic leadership to enhance early years education across all branches. This role is critical in ensuring curriculum excellence, instructional coaching, and bilingual integration, shaping the future of early childhood learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive curriculum strategy aligned with EYFS standards across all early years levels.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Teaching and Learning (Arabic) to deliver integrated bilingual education approaches.
  • Lead innovation and ensure compliance with EYFS and international accreditation standards.
  • Provide strategic leadership for Instructional Coaches and design development programs for early years education excellence.
  • Monitor teaching quality standards and conduct systematic evaluations across all branches.
  • Develop and implement assessment frameworks aligned with EYFS and EPG standards.
  • Analyse curriculum data and student outcomes to identify improvement areas and implement strategies.
  • Design and lead professional development frameworks for teachers, Academic Administrators, and Instructional Coaches.
  • Oversee the development and procurement of English curriculum resources and coordinate educational technology integration.
  • Lead curriculum-focused family engagement initiatives and support parent education programs.
  • Represent the school in educational networks and develop partnerships with international schools and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of successful early years teaching experience with demonstrated excellence.
  • Minimum 5 years of educational leadership experience in curriculum coordination or instructional coaching.
  • Proven experience managing and developing educational leaders and coaching staff.

Preferred

  • Experience in bilingual education and cross-cultural educational settings.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills with experience in change management.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and data analysis for curriculum improvement.
  • Experience in quality assurance, educational inspection, and compliance management.
