The Opportunity:

As an Instructional Coach - Early Years, you will provide expert guidance and mentorship to teaching staff across early years settings, with a focus on leadership development and consistent teaching practices. This role is essential in shaping educational excellence and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and mentor Academic Administrators and Lead Teachers through structured training programs and regular coaching sessions.
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide actionable feedback to improve teaching quality and student outcomes.
  • Design and deliver professional development sessions on instructional best practices and curriculum development.
  • Support the implementation of the EYFS curriculum and ensure alignment with school goals and student needs.
  • Coordinate with pastoral care teams to integrate wellbeing and behaviour management strategies into teaching practices.
  • Monitor and analyze student progress and wellbeing indicators across all branches.
  • Lead initiatives to support smooth transitions between year levels and coordinate with primary schools.
  • Train staff in parent engagement strategies and develop resources to support home-school partnerships.
  • Pilot innovative teaching and leadership practices and contribute to curriculum development across the network.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of successful early years teaching experience.
  • Proven experience in instructional coaching, mentoring, and leadership development.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and develop educational leaders.
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development principles.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment methodologies, and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in multilingual environments.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in pastoral care, child safeguarding, or student wellbeing support.
  • Knowledge of child protection protocols and crisis intervention procedures.
  • Experience in succession planning and talent development.
  • Understanding of community engagement and environmental education methodologies.
