The Opportunity:
As an Instructional Coach - Early Years, you will provide expert guidance and mentorship to teaching staff across early years settings, with a focus on leadership development and consistent teaching practices. This role is essential in shaping educational excellence and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and mentor Academic Administrators and Lead Teachers through structured training programs and regular coaching sessions.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide actionable feedback to improve teaching quality and student outcomes.
- Design and deliver professional development sessions on instructional best practices and curriculum development.
- Support the implementation of the EYFS curriculum and ensure alignment with school goals and student needs.
- Coordinate with pastoral care teams to integrate wellbeing and behaviour management strategies into teaching practices.
- Monitor and analyze student progress and wellbeing indicators across all branches.
- Lead initiatives to support smooth transitions between year levels and coordinate with primary schools.
- Train staff in parent engagement strategies and develop resources to support home-school partnerships.
- Pilot innovative teaching and leadership practices and contribute to curriculum development across the network.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of successful early years teaching experience.
- Proven experience in instructional coaching, mentoring, and leadership development.
- Demonstrated ability to train and develop educational leaders.
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development principles.
- Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment methodologies, and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in multilingual environments.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Preferred
- Experience in pastoral care, child safeguarding, or student wellbeing support.
- Knowledge of child protection protocols and crisis intervention procedures.
- Experience in succession planning and talent development.
- Understanding of community engagement and environmental education methodologies.
