The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher to lead an Outstanding school within the Blessed Holy Family Catholic Academy Trust. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Catholic education and inspire a vibrant learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school with a clear strategic vision, aligned with the Catholic ethos.
  • Inspire and support staff, pupils, and the wider community to achieve excellence in education and personal development.
  • Ensure the continued high standards of teaching and learning, with a focus on academic and personal growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with the parish, parents, and the local community.
  • Promote the spiritual development of all pupils in line with the Catholic mission.
  • Oversee the professional development and well-being of the school's staff.
  • Maintain and enhance the school's outstanding Ofsted rating and Catholic Inspection grading.
  • Work collaboratively with the Local Governing Body and Trust Board to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A practising Catholic who fully supports and can live out the Catholic ethos.
  • Proven leadership experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
  • Strong strategic and creative thinking skills.
  • Experience in leading a school with an Outstanding Ofsted rating.
  • Commitment to the development of staff and pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust.
  • Background in Catholic education.
  • Experience in managing school improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Catholic teaching and values.
