Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a committed team of staff to deliver high-quality education and pastoral care.
  • Develop and implement a clear vision for school improvement and growth.
  • Ensure the school continues to achieve excellent academic results and Ofsted standards.
  • Promote and uphold the Catholic ethos and values across all aspects of school life.
  • Manage and develop effective relationships with parents, governors, and the local community.
  • Oversee the school’s financial and operational performance with efficiency and accountability.
  • Support the professional development of teaching and support staff.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or senior leadership role in a secondary school.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of school improvement.
  • Deep understanding of Catholic education and values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in driving academic and pastoral excellence.
  • Ability to lead and manage large teams effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience in a specialist school, particularly in mathematics and computing.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted inspection processes and standards.
  • Experience in leading a large secondary school with a strong sixth-form provision.
  • Knowledge of British values and their integration into school life.
  • Experience in fostering strong community and parental engagement.
