Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the school’s strategic direction, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Foster a positive school culture aligned with the school’s Christian values and ethos.
- Develop and implement policies that support the well-being and academic progress of all pupils.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the local community to enhance the school’s impact.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff and pupils to drive continuous improvement.
- Represent the school at local and regional events, promoting its values and achievements.
- Support the professional development of staff across the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in a senior leadership role, ideally as a Headteacher.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Deep understanding of educational best practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Experience of working in a school with a Christian ethos and values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience in a church school or similar setting.
- Knowledge of school improvement strategies and Ofsted standards.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Experience in managing large teams and budgets.
