The Opportunity:

Join a school’s dedicated team as a Teaching Assistant, supporting students across all age ranges and abilities. This role plays a vital part in delivering a flexible and adaptive curriculum, while ensuring the emotional and social needs of students are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with additional needs, including those requiring SEN support.
  • Provide general classroom support and assist in the delivery of lessons.
  • Liaise with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to develop and implement an inclusive curriculum.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Promote the social, emotional, and mental wellbeing of students.
  • Work flexibly across different year groups and learning environments.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Assist in the management of classroom resources and materials.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A minimum of a grade C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of supporting student learning.
  • Ability to work with a range of students, staff, and parents.
  • Confidence, resilience, and flexibility.
  • Organised and enthusiastic approach to work.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with additional needs.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies.
  • Experience with curriculum development and delivery.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.05 per hour.
