The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring high standards in teaching, learning, and student achievement.
  • Drive continuous improvement through coaching, performance management, and professional development of teaching staff.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture that promotes student wellbeing, engagement, and academic success.
  • Utilize data and assessment to monitor progress, set targets, and implement strategies that improve student attainment.
  • Develop and deliver the school improvement plan, ensuring priorities are met and outcomes are achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider organization.
  • Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, statutory requirements, and independent school standards.
  • Contribute to the global network by sharing best practices and supporting broader initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a senior leader within a school setting (e.g., Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher, or equivalent).
  • Strong classroom practice with the ability to model and coach outstanding teaching.
  • Demonstrated experience in improving student outcomes through effective leadership of teaching and learning.
  • Confidence in using data and assessment to drive performance and inform decision-making.
  • A visible, approachable leader who builds trust and credibility with staff and students.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and school leadership responsibilities.
  • Passionate about education with a commitment to developing both staff and students.

Preferred

  • Experience with self-directed learning frameworks and innovative pedagogical approaches.
  • Experience in leading school improvement initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with global education standards and international school operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
