We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History and Government & Politics Teacher to join a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in History and Government & Politics across all key stages.
- Support students in achieving excellent examination results and personal growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of the Government and Politics A Level curriculum.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the school’s learning and teaching priorities.
- Promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values in line with its mission and vision.
- Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Relevant subject knowledge in History and Government & Politics.
- Experience in teaching at key stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach A Level.
- Commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering successful examination results.
- Early career teacher or experienced teacher with a proven track record.
- Familiarity with Catholic education and values.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
