We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History and Government & Politics Teacher to join a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in History and Government & Politics across all key stages.
  • Support students in achieving excellent examination results and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of the Government and Politics A Level curriculum.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the school’s learning and teaching priorities.
  • Promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values in line with its mission and vision.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Relevant subject knowledge in History and Government & Politics.
  • Experience in teaching at key stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach A Level.
  • Commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering successful examination results.
  • Early career teacher or experienced teacher with a proven track record.
  • Familiarity with Catholic education and values.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
