- Support students in developing a strong understanding of historical events and their significance.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the history curriculum.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in History or a related field.
- Experience in teaching History at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the history curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Commitment to the school’s values and mission, including a supportive and inclusive ethos.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering GCSE and A Level History courses.
- Familiarity with the use of digital tools and resources in teaching.
- Experience in working within a Church of England school or similar educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
