Key Responsibilities:
- Teach History to students in a small-class setting, focusing on meaningful understanding and engagement.
- Deliver lessons in Geography or German as a second subject, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom.
- Support students in the afternoon program, which includes arts, sports, and practical work, contributing to a well-rounded education.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
- Engage with students in a holistic manner, supporting their academic and personal development.
- Participate in the school’s international community, contributing to the school’s mission and values.
- Encourage student participation in outdoor activities and experiential learning opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- University degree in History
- Ability to teach a second subject, ideally Geography or German
- Experience teaching at the secondary level (grades 7–13)
- Strong communication skills in German, with fluency in English as an advantage
- Passion for working with young people and a commitment to their well-being
Preferred
- Experience with reform pedagogy, Ruth Cohn’s Themenzentrierte Interaktion, or Martin Wagenscheins Didaktik des exemplarischen, entdeckenden Lernens
- Familiarity with international curricula, such as the American High School Diploma or Swiss secondary programs
- Experience in a boarding school or international educational setting
