The Opportunity:
A school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teacher to join its expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds in a stimulating, international setting, with a focus on academic rigor and innovative teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students
- Develop and implement effective schemes of learning and adapt to curriculum changes
- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and student learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous professional development
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to support student progress
- Promote a culture of high expectations and academic excellence
- Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Bachelor's Degree and a certified teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
- Proven experience teaching in a UK or international setting, following the Cambridge International Curriculum or the National Curriculum of England and Wales
- Strong knowledge of pedagogy and effective teaching and learning strategies
- Fluent in English
- Experience in using technology to support learning
- Commitment to the Teachers’ Standards and a professional approach to teaching
- Experience in writing schemes of learning
- Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change
Preferred
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL)
- B or C permit to work and live in Switzerland
