The Opportunity:

A school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teacher to join its expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds in a stimulating, international setting, with a focus on academic rigor and innovative teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students
  • Develop and implement effective schemes of learning and adapt to curriculum changes
  • Utilize technology to enhance teaching and student learning outcomes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor's Degree and a certified teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Proven experience teaching in a UK or international setting, following the Cambridge International Curriculum or the National Curriculum of England and Wales
  • Strong knowledge of pedagogy and effective teaching and learning strategies
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in using technology to support learning
  • Commitment to the Teachers’ Standards and a professional approach to teaching
  • Experience in writing schemes of learning
  • Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change

Preferred

  • Experience working in a multicultural environment
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL)
  • B or C permit to work and live in Switzerland
