Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science and Mathematics lessons to Secondary students, including up to IGCSE and A level.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that align with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
  • Create engaging and challenging schemes of learning that reflect curriculum changes and student needs.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and student participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning in line with the Teachers’ Standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Certified teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science and Mathematics in a UK or international setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum or the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pedagogy and effective teaching practices.
  • Experience using technology to support learning.
  • Ability to write and adapt schemes of learning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Computer Science up to IGCSE and A level.
  • B or C permit to work and live in Switzerland.
  • Experience in a school leadership or mentoring role.
