Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a homeroom class in an elementary/primary school setting.
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the USA curriculum standards.
• Promote student growth through differentiated instruction and individualized support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Maintain open lines of communication with parents and students.
• Utilize educational technology to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Foster a classroom culture that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Strong knowledge of the USA curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficient in using educational technology tools.

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Familiarity with the Virginia State Learning Standards and AP Program.
