Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with the American Common Core State Standards (Massachusetts)
  • Deliver high-quality instruction in early literacy, numeracy, and differentiated learning
  • Monitor and assess student progress using data-informed strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and curriculum development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Engage in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the whole-child development through character education and social-emotional learning
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an international school setting
  • Strong knowledge of structured literacy and numeracy instruction
  • Experience with data-informed planning and student progress monitoring
  • Proficient in the American Common Core State Standards (Massachusetts)

Preferred

  • Experience with internationally recognised curriculum frameworks
  • Familiarity with vertical progression in early years education
  • Strong assessment literacy and ability to track student growth
  • Experience in a collaborative, improvement-focused school environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse, inclusive, and multicultural setting
