The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching to Foundation Stage students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and independence.
  • Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Promote positive behavior and maintain high standards of discipline and safeguarding.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a minimum of two years teaching experience.
  • B.Ed or BA degree in a core Primary subject with PGCE.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Foundation Stage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of ICT in teaching and learning.
  • Thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

Preferred

  • Experience in fostering a caring and supportive classroom environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Experience with innovative teaching practices and educational technologies.
  • Experience working in international or British curriculum schools.
