The Opportunity:

As an HR Advisor, you will be the central point of contact for all staff-related HR matters and provide expert guidance to school leadership. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and compliance across all HR functions, from onboarding to exit procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support all aspects of the HR lifecycle, including onboarding, employment contracts, payroll, and compliance.
  • Coordinate visa, work permit, and KHDA/ADEC applications and renewals for new and existing staff.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for all incoming staff, including pre-employment communication and induction.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and all employment regulations, including managing staff documentation and HRMS records.
  • Support school leadership with performance management, appraisals, and disciplinary processes.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including sourcing, shortlisting, and arranging interviews for teaching and non-teaching roles.
  • Manage HR KPIs and reporting, providing regular updates on metrics such as staff turnover, absence, and recruitment activity.
  • Handle exit procedures, including final settlements, visa cancellations, and housing arrangements for leaving staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and recognised HR qualification or professional accreditation
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supportive HR role
  • Understanding of UAE Labour Law
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Competent in using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and HRMS

Preferred

  • Experience with HRMS systems
  • Knowledge of teacher licensing processes
  • Experience in managing Life and Health Insurance applications
