The Opportunity:

We are seeking an HR Operations Assistant to provide immediate support during maternity cover. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient HR operations and supporting the school’s commitment to fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and manage payroll outputs, employee surveys, employment records, and exit interviews.
  • Analyze HR metrics to evaluate workforce efficiency and impact.
  • Identify trends in recruitment, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Implement new data processes and systems to improve HR operations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Recommend policies to enhance workplace culture and improve hiring practices.
  • Review and update job descriptions to support employee retention and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software platforms.
