The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This role offers the chance to support a busy HR department and gain valuable experience in a high-responsibility generalist position. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR team with high-level administrative tasks and processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
  • Assist with the management of HR systems and databases.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications on HR-related matters.
  • Provide support during recruitment processes, including candidate correspondence and interview arrangements.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and data analysis.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR initiatives are effectively executed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in high-level administration or HR support.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using HR software and office applications.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and procedures.
  • Experience with payroll or employee records management.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and welfare policies.
