The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Humanities subjects including RE, Geography, and History at KS3 and KS4.
- Create and maintain a disciplined and stimulating learning environment.
- Promote the appreciation and understanding of the subject through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning and development.
- Contribute to the production of resources and examination papers.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Support students’ well-being through form tutoring and pastoral duties.
- Ensure compliance with external examination requirements and Teachers’ Standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching Humanities subjects.
- Strong knowledge of examination specifications and curriculum requirements.
- Ability to manage and motivate students effectively.
- Commitment to student progress and well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching RE, Geography, and History at both KS3 and KS4.
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching resources.
- Involvement in departmental leadership or mentoring programs.
- Experience with CPD and leadership development initiatives.
