Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IT and Business at KS3 and KS4, ensuring students make good progress and enjoy their learning.
• Create a disciplined and stimulating environment that promotes student motivation and engagement.
• Monitor and support student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
• Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work, assessments, and teaching resources.
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings, contributing to policy development and improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with examination requirements and health and safety standards.
• Support the wider school community through form tutoring, extracurricular activities, and parent engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a strong knowledge of IT and Business curriculum and examination specifications.
• Experience in teaching IT and Business at KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to create and maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging learning environment.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Commitment to student progress and well-being.

Preferred

• Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching resources.
• Experience in contributing to examination paper production and marking.
• Experience in leadership or mentoring programs.
• Familiarity with CPD initiatives and professional development opportunities.
