The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Maths Teacher and ECT Induction Lead to join our team and make a meaningful impact on both students and new teachers. This role combines high-quality teaching with a leadership responsibility in supporting early career teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Teacher Induction programme.
- Deliver high-quality teaching in Maths, ensuring student progress and engagement.
- Mentor and support trainee and early career teachers to develop into confident and reflective practitioners.
- Coordinate training programmes, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with ITT providers, mentors, and school leaders.
- Contribute to the school’s professional learning culture through reflective practice and collaboration.
- Support the development of new teachers through coaching, guidance, and regular feedback.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning across all subjects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Maths.
- Experience in teaching and a commitment to high-quality learning.
- Strong mentoring, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate training and manage documentation effectively.
- Commitment to inclusivity and raising student outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or supporting Early Career Teacher induction programmes.
- Experience with Initial Teacher Training providers and programmes.
- Experience with CPD and leadership development.
- Experience in developing and delivering professional learning opportunities.
