The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Humanities Teacher to join our A-Level team and make a meaningful impact on students' learning journeys. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in History and Politics at A-Level.
- Support students in achieving outstanding academic results and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement innovative learning experiences.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the wider curriculum through enrichment activities and subject-specific initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date records and reports on student performance and attendance.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
- Work flexibly across different learning environments and contribute to the school’s mission and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in a relevant subject and a PGCE or CertEd qualification.
- Level 2 in Maths and English.
- Recent experience teaching A-Level History and Politics.
- Strong record of student achievement and progress.
- Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.
- Proficient use of IT and Microsoft Office.
Preferred
- Experience with AQA and wider curriculum understanding.
- Additional subject or enrichment delivery experience.
- Level 4 professional subject qualification.
