Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative ICT and Business Studies lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the ICT and Business Studies curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Support student progression through effective assessment, feedback, and personalized learning strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning across the school.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that promote student engagement and school culture.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in ICT and Business Studies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in ICT and Business Studies.
- Experience in teaching ICT and Business Studies at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on leadership responsibilities where appropriate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching ICT and Business Studies.
- Experience in using digital tools and resources in the classroom.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar qualifications.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
