The Opportunity:

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of students during lunchtime. This is a key position in maintaining a positive and supportive environment across the school site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunchtime across the school site, including dining hall and designated areas.
• Uphold acceptable standards of behaviour by modelling positive conduct and speech.
• Intervene in behavioural issues using positive management strategies.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe dining environment by tidying tables and equipment.
• Ensure the well-being of students and report any concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Support the school's culture of safety, respect, and inclusion.
• Collaborate with other staff to foster a positive atmosphere during lunch breaks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions in emergency or challenging situations.
• Commitment to student safety and well-being.
• A satisfactory DBS check.

Preferred

• Knowledge of basic hygiene and first aid procedures.
• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Willingness to obtain additional qualifications or training.
