The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic ICT and Business Studies Teacher to join our growing department and contribute to the continued success of students across key stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire pupils and lead in a forward-thinking and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop the ICT and Business Studies curriculum
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning at key stage 3 and 4
  • Promote excellence in teaching and learning practices
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to the development of vocational qualifications in ICT and Business Studies
  • Support the school’s commitment to student achievement and progress

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching ICT and Business Studies at key stage 3 and 4
  • Commitment to raising student achievement and promoting excellence in teaching
  • Ability to lead and manage a department effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Experience with vocational qualifications in Business and ICT
  • Familiarity with GCSE and alternative qualification pathways
  • Experience in curriculum development and review
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities and pastoral support
  • Experience with professional coaching and mentoring programmes
